Thank you for all the support throughout our campaign. We are proud of what we accomplished, and we could not have done it without the support we received from friends, family, and citizens across District 1. We will continue to be actively involved in making our community a better place. If there is ever anything I can do to help you, please don’t hesitate to call or email. God Bless.
Best Regards,
Ryan Gilbert

The last few weeks have been full of forums and rallies across District 1. Today, Ryan is featured on the front page of the Pensacola News Journal. The author highlights the main issues in the District 1 House race: Availability, Leadership, and Integrity. Thank you for taking the time to find out about the candidates. Make sure to look at the Florida Division of Elections website to “follow the money.” Find out who is funding each candidates campaign. We’re proud to report that even in times when the economy is not at its strongest, citizens of our district are willing to give what they can to affect positive change in Tallahassee. Help us upgrade our representation. Please vote for Ryan Gilbert on August 26th. Thank you!
July 16, 2008 ANNOUNCEMENT!! The Gilbert Campaign will host a FREE FISH FRY this Saturday, July 19th at the Baker Recreation Center on Highway 4. All are welcome to come enjoy the food and live music and meet Ryan Gilbert. The festivities will start at 5:30 and food will be served as long as it lasts. The atmosphere will be relaxed so come when you can and stay as long as you like. We look forward to seeing you there. July 7, 2008

We spent Independence Day in Milton at the Riverfest. It was warm, but we had a great time meeting people and celebrating freedom. We offered free face painting at our booth and hundreds of kids participated. We also got the opportunity to talk to tons of people about the issues facing our community and what we can do in Tallahassee. Thank you for coming out and sharing with us. In other important news, we are holding a Fish Fry Fundraiser at the Baker Community Center on July 19th. There will be good food and live music. It’ll be the best dinner and entertainment in town. Call or email for ticket information. UPDATE!! June 25, 2008 Thanks to the support we’ve received so far, we have successfully qualified. It has also come to our attention that an unexpected third person qualified as a “write-in” candidate. This means the primary will be closed, so that only Republicans can vote. Make sure you register to vote so you will have a voice in deciding who represents you in Tallahassee.

It is with pleasure that I announce my candidacy for Florida District 1 State House of Representatives. As a lifelong resident of District 1, I know the needs and values of this area. Our citizens deserve strong and dynamic leadership in Tallahassee so that our voices will be heard. One pillar of my campaign is being available to the citizens of our area. As a representative I will work tirelessly for the needs of District 1. After elected I will fight to improve our education system, build our economic base, and represent District 1 with integrity. Please join me in building a better future for District 1. I ask for your vote on August 26th and your support by helping us spread the word. With your help we can again have good representation in Tallahassee. Thank you and God Bless.
