Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
When is the election?
The election for District 1 State Representative will be decided in the Primary on August 26th.
Can Democrats vote? (UPDATE!)
A “write-in” candidate has qualified for the District 1 House of Representatives race. Because of this, the primary is considered “closed” to only Republicans. The winner of the Republican primary will go on to face the write-in candidate in the general election in November. If you are not a registered Republican, you will not have a voice in this election. Everyone deserves a say in who represents them in Tallahassee. Please help us win this race by registering as a Republican and encouraging your friends and family to do the same. To find out how to register to vote or change your party affiliation, visit our “Vote” page where you will find links to your Supervisor of Elections page.
